March of the Trolls
This was made using Snakebud driving Beathawk. I added some trombones from Pure Synth Platinum (because marching) and then threw in some Geoshred.
I’m in the midst of learning to use Audio Evolution Mobile Studio which, as I get used to it, seems to work really well for arranging tracks.
The “siren” was added with OB-1 in case those trolls didn’t sound grim enough. Buffoonish but grim.
I tried to keep it mercifully short.

Very apt title. Reminiscent of classical stuff in a way. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice meets Spike Jones, etc. @McD can probably fill in the historical blanks. Good instruments and could have been longer, no problem. 😉🙏
Strange and delightful. I enjoyed it very much!
Hilarious! I loved music that elevates the absurd to high art. You really nailed the comic spirit.
This counts as dungeon synth to me. I'm counting it. Very creative and inspiring dungeon synth.
Made me think of exploring a troll marketplace, where they're all grotesque and making gross troll food and selling troll armor that doesn't fit me, and I'm the only human just wandering around admiring their outlandish wares.
In other words... I really liked it.
well done!
Many thanks for listening and kind remarks, @sbcfx, @GeorgeL909, @McD, @Paulieworld,
good call!
Wicked, you could also call it “Boris the Buffoon!”
Ha! That was awesome! Flawless. Just in time to put me in a good frame of mind before calling it a night. 👏
ha! brilliant!
Nice!
I can imagine this going down a bomb in a primary school music / dance lesson , loved the trombones.
I didn’t expect it to resonate with people so much.
Thanks, @Toastedghost, @sevenape, @AlexY, @GeoTony, and thanks @wim for pointing me to Audio Evolution which so far is working pretty well on my iPad 6.
