SynthMaster does almost everything. LayR is an overlooked gem.
One of these or both and a midi mapped controller is all you really need to stop most of the variants of the hardware bug.
For the 32 oscillators per voice capability of the Skulpt synth?
The only one that fits that description is Drambo.
You or someone else will have to put it together to get the results.
Yeah thanks Audible...just wish Layr was a bit more traditional in look /gui...
Cheers Gravitas, it happened to watch videos on YT with "just sounds" of Skulpt and it kinda hook me up ( i mean in 15 minutes I heard such a huge variety of tones and timbres)> @Gravitas said:
Here are a couple of examples using only the oscillators in Drambo.
This one uses only one synth design to get all of
the timbres, a challenge that I had set for myself.
and this one uses a few synth designs, again of my own designs.
Yes Drambo offers that 32 osc’s power and the va architecture … this is the video with the skulpt sounds( of course, nicely played with hooky melodic lines)
Get the Skulpt.
I'll second sawiton. Get the sculpt. It's super cheap and sounds great. You can pic them up used
Layout is a bit quirky to get a hang of, and it feels a little plastic-y, other than that, love that little synth.
Apparently the SE improved the build quality.
Ugh…. Now I’m looking at these again. 😬 Just seems like such a cool tiny capable machine…. Of course you need one to both complement the strengths of, and take a little pressure off the iPad. And what small live rig wouldn’t benefit from one? Unknown quantities of Xmas money already itching to get one
