Man, this game is so good and looks amazing on my cheapo 2020 iPad. perfect for waiting out my last week of quarantine. Takes the spot as the single most impressive iOS game to date, even has mouse and keyboard support!

Thanks for the heads up! I started playing it on my laptop a couple years ago but really didn’t like that interface, I died way too often in what is already a hard game. Looks like this on my iPad will be a lot easier to control.

Another tip: yesterday i bought Divinity 2 and i‘m blown away how good it looks and plays on my M1 ipad.Amazing port,also with M+T and controller support but touch control is perfect 👌 Good for my holiday travel.
Played this on the Xbox 360 at release. Stopped playing after the first encounter with the Alien. I’m gonna give it one more try, this time in VR. You need the game from steam or epic plus the mothervr mod (the game was originally designed with vr in mind, so should be good).
There is a modded config file in the PC version that freezes the alien for a more relaxing experience. Only thing is that when you get to the final scene you need to switch back to the original config file or you can't proceed but I was able to enjoy the game much more that way.
When the Joes (the bot servants) go ape it's still a bit tense but that's why you need the second modded config file that gives you a one shot kill pistol!
I have a v low frustration threshold for difficult games so I like to dial down the difficulty sometimes. It's either that or it gathers dust ...

I really hope Apple makes the ipad and iphone VR compatible and brings out a headset (But crucially they need to make it compatible with other headsets which I doubt they will want to do). It makes total sense for mobile especially iphone, because you could stick it in your pocket and stream it to your headset.
Every xmas break (starting today at 5, squeal!) I get something to play so I was browsing the app store only to learn I can stream Steam games to my iPad with controller support... GAME CHANGER!!!

Yeah I was jealous of the PC users for those mods, I couldn't really find anything for the Apple Store version but maybe that's changed. I'm a little concerned the iPad version will still be a PITA, but willing to give it another go. I love the Alien franchise, and always wanted to get through this one.
