It’s had the opposite effect on me. I quite like the Klevgrand stuff I’ve bought, but this seems entirely pointless with no connectivity. It’s percussion, so yes, you could screen record, but how to do it in sync with anything? Went from install to uninstall in about 5 minutes here.

I don’t mind it much cos I plan on either using a mic or line in to record and will just play it like a shaker

Perhaps it's not possible to use the device features (gyroscope, etc) as effectively through AUv3 as is possible in standalone app?

Maybe. But IAA would still be possible. ThumbJam (IAA) uses the accelerometer etc.

I feel this is mostly exercise in ‘can I make it’ as opposed to a useful instrument. Even if it worked (crashes on load here) I expect it would be much quieter than a regular egg shaker and not much less portable.
I’m still curious to try it if/when it finally works.

Good ol fun from Klevgrand. Harkens back to their early days, back when flip-top Zippo lighter apps were stunning the world. I like this better than all their found sounds crap combined.

Too much effort was put into this to be free and have no connectivity. But I’m sure I’ll be a dork and bring it out at the Christmas party luau/singalong at the studio space in a couple days.

They’ve updated it.

I get what you mean, it’s just retry impressive and definitely better than orba but my toca egg shaker is about 10 times louder and Rassel will get drowned by any but very lightly finger picked guitar.

I’m definitely going to play a trick on my daughters tomorrow though, by telling them there’s sand stuck in my phone!😉
