Sorry... I missed this one in my melancholic Holiday mood. It would have been perfect with a 12 year old scotch whiskey too. I missed the scotch whiskey too. Oh well. There's sometimes, next year. Wish me luck.
Did you use all 10 fingers on this one? How have you protected your hands over the years? Any good shop stories about playing with a finger splint or 2?
@McD, nothing special to protect my hands. Miraculously never had any serious injury. A few deep cuts from cooking. Thumb got slammed once from an automatic pitching machine so it’s a slightly different shape from the other one.
Often, playing gigs on rotten pianos I would split my nails across the width of my fingers from playing too hard. It was painful. Recently have started getting some arthritic pain in both hands. Ibuprofen takes care of it. I remixed this recently as “Perihelion”. Not sure how many fingers I used, but several, for sure 😉😘🤪🙏
