ios live dub mixing

happy new year everyone.
i found a way to use ipad to do some live dub mixing.
i’m using aum, koala sampler, dubstation 2 and replicant.
the op-1 is just a midi controller (expensive midi controller 😅).
i sampled a swedish politician saying ”we need to track down all unvaccinated, we need to find out where they live, what they do and how old they are”.
i’m pretty sure she doesn’t mean it but i thought it would be fun to make fun of her badly chosen statement.
anyways, hope you enjoy it.

  • @szczyp haha no she is a minister in Sweden. She is the blond talking in the beginning of the video. I just put some fake dreadlocks on her photo because I wanted to see how to do it with pixelmator app on ios 😊

  • 👍effect is good

Also is nice to put kind of vibe effect on melodica, like prince far i. Vibe i mean detune effect, you know like fluctuation in tape delay , but without delay.

Happy New Year 2022 to all!

  • @szczyp good idea thanks. Do you know any plugin for detune effect?

    @Samu tackar 😊

  • edited January 2022

Yes - i will find this again.
In past I used Ensoniq dp4 on melodica, now
I will try to made this sound again with auv3. Nothing new but for fans of reggae and melodica like me.
EDIT: simply pitch shifter with amount of lfo is the trick.
    On fast - dirty example.

  • @szczyp thanks, this looks very interesting. i don't have drambo, it seems way too complicated for me but i might give it a try. have to watch some tutorials first :)
