Some Joyful Noise / One For Daveypoo

My inner child has escaped.
Mother of Mercy, is this the end of Rico?!

House Mark1, PurePiano, Module Choirs.
And a very happy new year to come for our EP loving friend, @Daveypoo. 😘🙏

  • Really nice sounds coming out of my headphones... notes and instrument choices. (It was time for the drummers to bow out for a tune).

    This one is ebullient.

  • @McD, yep, the bassist is gone, too. I’m aiming toward breatharian music. So, ebullient is right… as in boiling away everything. Soon I’ll just use breath sounds from SWAM Tenor Sax.

  • A jolly start to the new year 😃 The first one of many to come, I’m sure, in the year ahead. Nice EP sound at 03:00.

  • It sounds like you have captured the joy of the holidays in musical form, so very aptly titled. I especially enjoyed what the Module Choirs added to this.

This new approach will make a nice album.

Thanks a bunch @Spidericemidas and @MadeofWax. Appreciated, and, yes, the Module Choirs are very versatile.

@McD, you mean the upbeat major thing or just an album of breathy sounds?

Thx for listening @flo26. It is nice to come out in the sunlight after the smoky jazz clubs.

But where is @Daveypoo? I’m a bit concerned about him.

Happy new year to you all!

Surprise me with your ability to re-invent yourself.

  • @McD. It’ll be easier to do a Horace Silver imitation… Song For My Inner Child. Did you notice, btw, that the repeat halfway thru is up a whole step?

  • I'm here, I'm here! Missed the notification for this one. Not in the space to listen right this sec but I'll carve out the time as soon as I can.

  • Lovely and merry! Thanks!

    Aha! MIDI sorcery at work.

  • Wow, Bob James eat your heart out.

Very nice - you know I like your more melodic stuff. This has echoes of the Mr. Roger's Neighborhood theme. I like the music box bits as well - very effective.

  • Good to hear from you @Daveypoo. Thanks for the compliment!
