LK: can‘t create new track
Hi
What am I doing wrong here? when I press the shift button in LK nothing happens, it just turns green. I can‘t creat a new track. Do I have to enable anything? same in standalone or in AUM.

Do this and you are good.
Make sure Shift is disengaged (not green) when you long press in that empty space. Otherwise, you can long press any track name/number or the master track name
great, that worked. thanks! in all the tutorials they say press the shift button.
another problem: when I try to rename a track, the ios keyboard doesn‘t pop up, do i need a external keyboard for that?
that‘s in AUM, it works in standalone….
no, you can do it without an external keyboard. type the current track name and the ios keyboard will appear
I mean, once you select the rename option tap the current name
no, it doesn‘t worke here in AUM. I can select the rename button and the the default track name, but the keyboard doesn’t pop up. strange…
I reinstalled LK, now it works…. Thanks for your help!
For the keyboard issue, this workaround worked for me. if it ever happens to you again, worth a try:
I tap on the project menu to open it, then just close it (without changing project of course) then the next time I need to use the keyboard in an input field, the keyboard opens correctly.
