Have you ever played one of the Rhodes where the stand is a huge speaker cabinet and the sound just wells up to you in this warm tube amp blanket of sound? It's more immediate than a concert grand if you love that sound, as I do. My nephew wants to give me his Rhodes but there are many reason why that probably won't happen... most logistical and related to the weight of the whole package.
Anyway, this is a lovely creation in every sense: musically, sonically and technically. I know that the keyboard player for Mr. Rogers made this type of music a cultural joke for most but for me it's still a warm bath I can just melt into. And you pour a nice tub of notes.
