I wish Apple adapted MagSafe tech to iOS although having cables detach during a live set doesn’t sound like fun.

No need to wait for apple.....

(Most of them charge only but there's plenty that do data. Not sure how much I'd trust a magnetic thunderbolt cable....)

Yes I have that as a regular iPhone charging cable which is super useful because I’ve already replaced the charging port component on my 6s twice and realised that replacement parts are much more prone to malfunction. It’s especially good because it stops fluff and debris getting into your port!!

Strangely the lightning one I have only has contacts on one side and also doesn’t work with iPads, just iPhones. What brand are you using? I’m guessing yours is USB-c?

My pro with USB C is permanently sitting in my suitcase rig so I don’t find the need to use any ‘clever’ solutions.

  • I don't use them. Fine for charging only for people who never plug anything into their device but a charger I guess.

still trying to get my midi controllers up and running via auto map. I know I can map them manually.

    Which controllers do you have?

launchpad mk2 , launchpad pro mk2, apc mini

@condordontsurfz I cannot get my apc mini work with the ipad... on the computer its just plug and play.

How exactly do you have it connected.

  • @iK0_O . Could you please focus on one thread, maybe this one? Otherwise, people will try to respond to you all over the place. @espiegel123 has already responded to you in three different threads.
