Taking out the new shiny shiny in Drambo this evening:

  • This is awesome! Just bought omega last night - good to hear what it can do

Excellent. Another great track. I assume Drambo was controlling the filter frequency/resonance in Omega, couldn’t see the Omega LFO controlling it?

  • Some cool sounds and a great groove you have going there. BLEASS should use this in their promotional video. Well done.

Thanks. Yeah. Drambo is controlling the LFO via its Map functionality.

Glad you like it @MadeofWax thanks got the vote.
    @Lorichs @gregsmith 👊🏼™️💕

  • Very nice - thanks for sharing @echoopera

  • This is something i would add to my listening playlist, I love it. Is all that clean distortion? I’m sorry if I offend. I just don’t want to mess up my stock car speakers. I’ve seen your handle for years and you seem proficient with outputting quality content, so I’m assuming, yes. I only ask since this seemed like a noodling session for you (a month long session for me).

I’m just excited about adding this to my playlist😅

Thanks for enjoying the track. Yeah the distortion is clean i kept the levels below any Red Lining on the MasterChannel. I wanted to see how crunchy i could get before clipping occurred and hopefully it comes across as such.

Fwiw i did it all in headphones and my hearing is still intact👊🏼™️

All that being said if the track does appear problematic on anyones speakers please let me know. I feel like remixing this track soon.

  • Really enjoyed this a lot! I’m excited to get Omega myself. How are you liking it so far? How would you compare it to other iOS FM synths?

Thanks. So far it’s pretty nice. I’m not a very big FM user. I’ve been looking for a DigiTone on iPadOS and i am hoping Omega evolves it something like it on our platform.

Fwiw. Aparillo is my favorite FM synth.

  • Sound really good with your classic vibe as always.

    Aparillo is pretty fantastic.

I was kind of hoping the same. We have Ton for the Digitakt feel so having Omega for Digitone would be wonderful. I owned them both and sold them. Missed them ever since.

Be sure and get Drambo if you don't already have it. It's the best Octatrack/Digitakt style app we have on iOS. Nothing else compares to it imho.

I recently bought Drambo actually. I haven’t dug into it yet but I’m loving what little I’ve done with it so far. Ton: Drum Machine is also a very solid Digitakt replacement. Almost an exact clone besides a couple things. Even the color scheme is similar.

Just noticed Drambo is cross compatible with macOS, which is nice. Now they just need to bring Zeeon up to speed. Have been waiting for a long time for that one to come to macOS.

  • The new modulation visuals are pretty cool.

  • Sounds great.
    Love your creation.
    Than ks for this recording.
