Need a keyboard cover / orange cat issues
So this orange cat of mine continues to think it's OK to sit on my 88-key digital piano.
I'm less concerned about the piano body than the keys. And he does walk on the keys.
Any recommendation for a keyboard cover? Doesn't need to look fancy. Doesn't need to be road-worthy. Just needs to mitigate the orange cat hazard.
Thanks,
Joe
P.S. No, I won't kill the cat.

lecover.com always did custom covers for me for very cheap, but they looked great.
I got some nice velvety material from a fabric store cut to size. My mum’s pretty handy on the sewing machine so I got her to overlock it for me. It’s a cheap solution unless your cat is really determined to get under there:)
If it is just an orange cat issue and you wouldn't kill her, simply dye her with a different color. Problem solved.
You should be thankful she is not biting all those dangling/tempting cords (mine does).
Maybe she just needs a stool to become a mastreo -

What color for the cat would be best? Black goes with everything.
Nice looking cat
Thx. BTW, he's a he. Doesn't like the music loud. So maybe I just need to keep something playing 24x7.
My cat almost always wants to be very near me. Maybe a cat tower next to your keyboard so he can hang out close to you while you jam. Mine doesn’t get on my equipment, but I will make him a tower to keep in my studio space, if I ever get it done…
I use one of these

Same problem for my Korg M50. I cover it with two layer of towels and they just rip them off and walk all over the thing. I ended up ordering a custom cover from Bulgaria. Shipping is crazy to U.S. but I don’t want the keyboard scratched up and ruined. Three cats btw.
Thanks for the recommendations! Yeah, I also am thinking about a cat ladder to a tree to give him a better way to climb up.
Here he is from the other side. He likes to look out and bang on the glass. Goes up the piano to stand on the hand rail and knock.
We probably need a "cats and gear" thread! Or dogs and other pets.
It’s a constant battle isn’t it? My cats love to use my 707 as a bed. Seems very uncomfortable but they love it.
Give him the IRRESISTIBLE - soft. fluffy, warm, cozy, comfy, large... If you position it against a window, he will spend all day and all night on it dozing/gazing outside and watching chipmunks, birds, cars, people, dogs...
