    As an MPE noob: when I use Xequence to record and playback Animoog Z in AUM have I then ‘used up’ all my MIDI channels? Or can I still record and playback AU’s loaded in different AUM tracks ‘independenty’ via other MIDI channels?

    Good question! Xequence does support setting the number of zone channels (to less than 15 so you have more channels available for other routings), but unfortunately Animoog Z doesn't have a way to set the number of zone channels (it's always 15, plus 1 global channel, so all 16 channels are potentially used when recording from Animoog).

    UPDATE: What you CAN do is after recording a performance in Xequence, go into the pianoroll editor and re-assign channels (using PROCESS -> Assign Channels) to make sure that only so many channels are used. It's a bit tedious though.

    btw: I haven’t ran into the state saving and interaction problems Audiobus/AUM/Xequence yet since the last updates. I’m hopeful, but then again I must test some more and with heavier projects.

    That would be awesome if it were finally fixed. The new state saving implementation is much cleaner anyway, so if it at least hasn't gotten WORSE, the old code can finally be dumped! 🥳
