drum computer random pitch shifting issue?
I may just be overlooking something that is quite simple but i haven’t been able to solve this for the life of me and i thought i may try to inquire here…
Recently I downloaded drum computer for my newest ipad pro. Everything is fine except all my tracks in a sequence will randomly pitch shift up just for a quick second randomly. There seems to be no rhyme or reason but it makes it almost impossible to record with due to the inconsistency. Anyone else have this problem ? i hope it’s just me and i’m just noobing out

Like it's ratcheting? Is it this?
Or maybe it's the auto fill?
Check the Pitch tab in the modulation sequencer for each of the tracks. The values in there can be hard to read. Also check that you aren't accidentally affecting global pitch via the modulation matrix on any of them.
Yea it’s probably a modulation setting that in this app can be applied in a couple different ways. Take a look at any modulation sections. There’s a p-mod, plus the envelopes hav a pitch option, then the small mod assignment section in bottom right of an individual drum pad view. Plus the area shown in the pic above.
It could be auto fills. In buttom right corner check that Remix is selected (not Auto1 or Auto2).
As much as I admire this app, there are some really infuriating (and sometimes head-scratching) design decisions with it.
I could easily write a list entitled '10 things I hate about Drum Computer'
CPU use would be on there.
..So would ratcheting being ON by default (DUMB!)
..So would the stupid Auto-fills mentioned by the OP.
I'll let you guess the other 7.
It's still a great app.
OK... perhaps I'll mention just one more of the 10 things I HATE about Drum Computer....
there are "randomise" buttons littered everywhere, and if you accidentally press one you LOSE ALL YOUR HARD WORK on the drum you were sculpting. No confirmation or warning popup. Just ZAP... all gone.
For that problem just press UNDO ( left-arrow icon in the top-right)
thanks @_ki
I should have spotted that one
(all other frustrations still stand)
damn yeah those were turned on on selected tracks! wtf
thank u and thank u EVERYONE for the help!
I asked the same question in another thread, I think this is the correct answer:
