Maschine 1.2.3.434 is seen but doesn’t start

Hi everybody,
I know that the app is now at version 2 but I still have this old one on my ipad8 and I wanted to test it with audiobus and other apps, like Cubasis and Blocs Wave.
AB lets me see Maschine as an input app (see screenshot) but if I tap on “tap to launch” Maschine starts but I can’t get operation commands and I don’t see it in BW…
This is not a serious problem but I wanted to try Maschine again (I haven’t really used it very much) to evaluate it and decide if upgrading to version 2…
Any idea?
Thank you,
Arturo

  • Launch it outside from AB and if it started then add it within AB to the lane...
(had this with a couple of „old“ apps)

  • I would recommend against upgrading to version 2 as NI seems to have abandoned it.

    Hi Telefunky,
I tried launching apps in different orders but with no results… I don’t want to spend too much time on other tests, anyway, expecially after reading michael_m post, just after yours…
    Thank you anyway :-)

Wish I could say otherwise, as I’d love to see it keep up with similar products, but it’s barely changed in years. Maybe a couple of updates so it works in more recent iOS versions, but that’s about it.
