Most seamless way to do Koala Sampler across iOS devices

For 2022, I’ve decided I need focus. And Koala sampler is going to be one of the select tools I’m going to use.

I have an iPhone and an iPad. What is the most seamless way to share my song-making across those devices? Ideally, I can just save a Koala work-in-progress on the iPhone and then quickly keep working on it with Koala on the iPad.

Thanks! Joe

  • Export -> Share Koala Song and Airdrop it to the other device.

  • Thanks.

I don’t suppose there is a way to keep them automatically in sync?

By the way, I have Dropbox, Google Drive, and iCloud. But they all feel clunky with respect to what I want.

  • Not that I know of...
...It might work if @elf_audio adds an option to use iCloud Drive for Koala projects.
(I've had no issues sharing GarageBand projects between devices using iCloud so in theory it should work).

  • Interesting. So it IS possible and up to the dev roadmap.

@elf_audio here’s my vote for the iCloud Drive feature.

    Thanks

    +1

  • I would love this.

  • This would actually be really great because I sometimes use koala as a field recorder when I’m out and I’ll start something that I’d love to be able to finish on the iPad. May be better to bring it up in the discord.
