Is there an app?
Hi Guys,
Maybe you could help#collective knowledge. I’m looking for apps (primary on ios) that could:
1) do similiar things to Beat Munger from Emu Ultra samplers series (e4xt,e5000,e6400).
I mean being able to alter drum loops, change time signature or with hardcore swing. also being able (when sliced ) to switch on/off parts of loop. Here’s the vid on what you can do with it:
2) Get similiar results to timestretch on akai s950, s1000 and so on.
This specific „metalic” sound.
There is an Akaizer for PC (which had a problems with pitch) but maybe there is smth for ios?
Again vid:
3) Is there a proper ios audio edit tool, similiar to old school cool edit pro?
4) How do you nowadays sample from ytube, etc in app? This might be PM answer, for known reasons
5) What are the creative filter modulation apps?
6) Are there fx similiar to Red Panda Particle and Chase bliss audio mood? Basicly grannular micro-looper delay, with some lfo(?)
7) Is there an app for mashing up samples? Lets say I have 20 samples (ex. 5ms to 2seconds long), and I would like to randomly trigger them, sometimes with samples cutting others , with variable lfo speed.
If not on ios, is there something like that on PC?
Thank you for reading,
Any info will be much appreciated.
Keep up keepin on

You could check out Hokusai 2 and EZAudioCut for editing.
miRack has lots of exotic synths and exotic real-time FX. You can dig in there and get lost for days.
4): Tube AU is an AUv3 Plugin for recording audio from Youtube. In AUM it works perfectly.

3) Neon is a nice Audio Editor

Thanks guys!
So 3) and 4) are covered and lets say 5) and 6) harder to obtain, but to give a try with miRack.
Bump
5) Moog Filtatron is an interesting modulated filter.
Also, some iOS synth apps can also be used as FX, like Drambo and Mela2. That lets you use their filters with LFOs, MIDI inputs, envelope detection (for Drambo), etc.
You might be interested in apps that implement complex modulated FX, like Classic FX, FD-1, PhaseDelayArray, and xTrem. They go way beyond modeling a typical guitar stompbox.
6) There are granular modules in miRack. The Burns Spectrum synth package includes a granular module which can be used as effect.
For 5 & 6 there's no shortage really:

This is by no means a complete list, but just a random collection of the first few things I could think of.
For 7 your best bet would probably be learning how to use Drambo and knocking something together.
Definitely.
Web Audio also plays YouTube no video but you get the audio through the signal chain.
Any slicer with time stretch like Elliott Garage sEGments, Beatmaker 3, BlocsWave.
BlocsWave can only do straight, quantized 16th cuts but it has a nice workflow.
Can be built quite easily in Drambo too.
Neon might work as well, I don't own it.
If you can do without time stretching and just re-pitching instead, there's plenty more (and re-pitch followed a pitch shifter can give you that old school sound as well).
Audio Damage Discord 4 has 3 different pitch shift => time stretch algos which can be fine tuned. This plus a little bit crushing/resampling and filtering will get you very close.
No but Auditor is quite advanced.
Some sites offer "audio only" download.
Drambo.
Gotta look these up, sounds interesting!
Drambo.
Thank you very much guys for all input. Really helpful, will take a look in all apps you mentioned and try to use drambo as a trigger for multisamples (ex in Koala)
