Midi Channel remapping app
Hello Crew,
I'm trying to use B3-X in MKSensation Xtreme (as AU), and I've bought a budget Expression Pedal interface from Midiplus, called "Spy". The problem is, that it transmits only on MIDI Channel 1, but I need it on channel 15. Now I used the Midiflow app to remap channels. But I'm not sure how CPU-hungry the Midiflow is. Is there any smaller app (standalone) for remapping MIDI channels? Or Midiflow is Okay?
Comments
StreamByter might be less CPU-hungry. Somebody who uses it more often would have to write you a single line of code for it to work.

mfxStrip is a convenient front-end to set up channel conversions. The backend is Streambyter, but this way you don't have to learn the language.
mfxConvert is well worth having too.
Of course, Streambyter is well worth learning too, if you don't mind digging in. All these apps add virtually no overhead.
Yea this would have been my suggestion.
I believe there is a script for Mozaic on Patchstorage.com that will do the trick as well.
Thank you all! Go to check 'em all.
Unfortunately, mfxstrip appears not to remap CC values.
Update: Mozaic saves the day again.
Apps that don’t process audio use very little CPU, so MidiFlow shouldn’t be a concern for taking away resources needed for the
Audio producing apps. But this is true of all the alternatives proposed as well.
