LP on IPhone 11 export for STEMS!

How on earth can I export the tracks I’ve made IN LP into a program/ hardware that will pull the stems: why would they make an app that makes this so hard? Should I buy a Launchpad? Will that map the stems? Or if I export to MacBook and open in ableton? This is making me nutz. Basicallly do I have to export each pad (I make my own beat grids with loops and imported bits of my own) : so simply opening the same pack in BW is pointless because I use a massive mix of packs and imports)

HELP!

    Launchpad App.

I was implying if it was better to work with Loopy Pro for this...

  • Unfortunately you’re stuck with your current projects. Buying a Launchpad won’t help.

For future projects It is always best to start with BlocsWave and use that as the main creator app then export to launchpad to do the launchpad thing. Editing gives you the option to take you back to BW. BW has access to all of LPs packs.

It won’t help with projects already created in LP, those would have to be redone in BW to use the export features.

Frustrating, but that’s just how it works.

Unlike LP, BW is great at exporting stems.

In many ways Launchpad would be better as a performance screen within the BlocsWave app.

Don’t know why multi-out is not on LP? I always thought it was an IAA limitation and kept calling for Au LP..
    Flip has IAA Multi out..

Edit .. it is on the brink of perfection…

  • IAA is in its death throes. Rely on it at your peril!

Tell that to Ampify… Seems like they don’t know that…

I never use any of their apps in IAA mode. They’re very much standalone apps for me.

The way I use their apps there is no benefit at all for me syncing them with another app, just drawbacks. When I’m ready to expand from what I can do in BW, it has done its job and is needed no more.

Death throes is not accurate. IAA apps that worked well continue to work well. It is true that it will eventually be removed but that could be years away or iOS 16, though the latter seems doubtful).

Probably not. But maybe yes. Only apple knows for sure.

Dropbox seem very surprised that apple removed .kext support in Mac OS 12.3 (despite being given years of warning).
