EZ Voice available, with AB support, new in-app messaging system w/o popups
I won't post the whole hullabaloo here as far as the long announcement, you can get the app on the App Store here https://itunes.apple.com/app/ez-voice/id838975220?mt=8 and see details about it on our site at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/ezvoice if you wish anyway. It does indeed support Audiobus of course, but I fully realize it may not be the app for everybody here.
Then why announce/post it here? Thanks for letting me ask that question
It is because it is an example of IK piloting the new in-app messaging system that does not utilize popups. I've attached a few images here, and I hope it helps show what we're after now (as it will be included in another new app and rolled out into our existing apps going forward) so you don't need to download the app to check it out. It is fairly straightforward and unobtrusive, really, and I hope you enjoy it and what it means for the future of in-app messaging in IK apps, so here it is:

...so basically you can see in this case that we can let you know about the unlocking of an effect edit feature through registration and the availability of iRig Voice (again this may not be the belle of the ball here, but is quite a good fit for folks that do some casual karaoke etc) without the popups.
Looks like a pretty good improvement over the old system to me! So in apps like SampleTank and the iGrand/iLectric apps, you'll basically get a "news ticker" inside the menu, or on top of it? Where you can choose to read on or just ignore it, when they are updated with this that is.
Right, when they are updated with this system it will look and work just like that (I would assume there could be color scheme changes possible due to the different color schemes of the other apps vs EZ Voice but other than cosmetics it will work this way)..
Ok well, awesome.
On another note, I just noticed that the i-piano apps went on sale now. I got both iGrand and iLectric, and can definitely recommend those for anyone looking for some really good pianos (both grand & upright) for their iDevices.
(Now that the popups are being phased out and all).
Positive steps by Ik to finally listen and act on customer's annoyance with the popups.
Good stuff.

Just so people have the correct expectations, though, they are not yet phased out as this isn't rolled out to the other apps yet. I don't want people disappointed either. But I truly thank you for noting this. Much appreciated, sincerely.
Yea they're still there (once or twice a week I believe). But feels like it's safe to recommend the (relative small) investment in those apps now tho
Good compromise. Well done, IK.

Well a deal's a deal, I'd say... even if I didn't work here, those would be two apps I'd certainly pick up especially on sale.

Thank you for your kind words. Trying to move forward, we understand a lot of people do want the information and in the app is even more effective and preferred for a lot of folks (I mean email is like SO last decade!) just now they're getting delivered in a much better way for those (and really, all) users.
Very happy about this change from pop-ups to a menu item!
Those pop-ups get in the way more than 4 times a set at my gigs...
The funny thing is, I own a few of these extra IK products, and they are registered on my device...
So the continuous ads are completely useless for someone like me.
Wasted on a paying (and purchased) customer.
