App to change velocity curve for Audiolayer inside or outside a Daw
I have some sampled pianos inside audiolayer using Cubasis 3. The current hardware piano controler i use have the wrong velocity curves for the samples and I would die to be able to change the velocity response curve. Any apps or other that can do that - preferably inside Cubasis but anything goes?
Ps. I guess current ios piano offerings tops out at Ravenscroft and Pure piano and all other pre 2022 offerings which sadly does not work for me.

Midi Tools by Victor Porof might do the trick?

It's iPad only...
Bought it
It works great ! Weird interface that manage to confuse me a little. What is Clip Input vs Gate Input ? Also you have to turn dampen knob to control top of the velocity curve and a knob called drive to control the bottom. Perhaps there is a good reason for this terminology but for a piano player like me its WTF ????
You can use StreamByter as a MIDI effect and rescale the Note On message velocities. You could implement piecewise linear, or maybe a simpler adjustment. I routinely use one that lifts the zero value, then interpolates linearly to maximum.
On some digital pianos (Like most Yamaha Clavinovas) the same terms are hidden in the menus
I did not quite get the last part uncledave
But I bought the first one and it works. Any thoughts of what Clip Input and Gate Input means ? They seem to do the same thing to my ears
Ps. I find it weird that me multisampling a high end vst and a hardware piano in thirds can get better results than current piano apps on ios. Lets hope for better ios pianos in the future
Same here
When I had a Behringer Moto 61 I used Midifire to correct the velocity of black keys.
Use this

I use it , it’s the best I’ve found on iOS.
There are a few more ideas here: https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/46630/midi-velocity-curve-app
(note: the link to a mozaic script in there is bunged up because of the forum formatting software. The working link is https://patchstorage.com/_curvemaker_/. I haven't tried this script.)
