$100? That’s amazing.
Just wow!
According to Behringer, the Pro-VS is a 4-voice polyphonic hybrid vector Synthesizer.
It has 4 voices and is hybrid. Thus, we can expect digital oscillators and Curtis-style digital-controlled analog filters like on the original. As with the original, waveforms can also be mixed with a 4D (ABCD) joystick.
Then, you have oscillator controls for each layer, analog filter with cutoff & resonance controls, three envelopes, two LFOs, and more.
On the connection side, you have an headphone output, sync, MIDI input, and a USB connection. A main output is missing here, which is a shame. I prefer if you have both.
Behringer Pro-VS will be available soon for an estimated price of $99 USD.
That is an insane price. Not sure I could use that keyboard thought.
When hardware becomes cheaper then software

$149. :-/
Not loving the form factor. Total rip of Modal designs.
The design and the price resembles the Volcas but with a quite capable synth engine. Cool device. Quite tempting but I have no analog inputs left… 🤔
This looks excellent, especially for the price.
There going cheaper!

Must admit the JP 4000 doesn't inspire by its looks!
What’s with the neo communist design? Looking too much like state issued equipment. Hope it is not going trendy.
This looks like it has a chance of sounding fairly decent in the sense that the Prophet VS was fundamentally a digital synth but with an analog filter. As for the design, hey it's a Behringer so you know it's going to be unoriginal, but that's an impressive amount of hands-on controllability for such a cheap synth. Definitely in the Volca vibe but with proper DIN MIDI, which will help with hooking it up to a decent midi controller/keyboard.
Behringer are the Cherry Audio of hardware.
holy shit those are most ugly looking synths EVER made :-D :-D .. let's see how will they sound, especialy JP-4000 for $49 looks like steal, in case it will sound good.. at least it has analog filter which is nice ..
That’s what Behringer does best. And they make it very inexpensive.
Everyone seems to hate the design but I dig it. I guess I’m just into kitschy stuff.
I like it too.
I just watched that video and it confirmed my hatred of the size and interface, lolol.
