Thanks for the video, Doug-cool to see this in action.
On another track (no pun intended), in another thread you mentioned you had found an app that would help you with your guitar playing, and that you were going to do a vid about that. Not to hurry, but I would like to know what app? Thanks!
Doug, if you want to improve your playing, check out the http://www.justinguitar.com/ website! So much useful stuff on there.
I'll check out your new vid at lunchtime!
Very good audio quality of recordings....good, I think to buy it...

@Sinapsya 48/96, and it also has the Focusrite Preamps
Looks good, being able to power the devices, do audio, midi, and monitor can be difficult to find as an all in one solution for iOS devices. Great run down of the iTrack.
Many thanks Doug - look forward to the next one. I can thoroughly recommend www. justinguitar.com (his singing is on a par with yours!) and there is bags of stuff on his website.
Is lightening to 30 pin possible on this unit?
Lightning.

I honestly dont know, for something like that I think it would be wise to contact Focusrite
@thesoundtestroom Did you ever review that Arturia MiniLab, Doug? I've considered buying it just for the good things I've read about the Analog Lab software. Would love to get your take on the whole package.

Its well worth the money just for the 5000 presets you get with the Analoge Lab software, the Minilab keys is a good controller too. I never use the software, not enough time and its juicy, but the few times I did have a go it was very cool, I made this demo awhile back showing how to set it up with Alechemy
Good video Doug!
Hey Doug, would you know if this powers headphones that usually require an amp?
@SpookyZoo said:
It should do, my Scarlett 2i4 can power HD650s, and I believe Doug is using AKG 702s that require amplification.
@SpookyZoo said:
@SpookyZoo good question, I use AKG K702 Reference Headphones and they need an amp to power them, I have a Fiio E17 which is fantastic. But the iTrack Dock worked great without the amp for the cans, plenty loud enough
Powers my 600ohm AKG K240 DFs just fine
Good to know. Thanks for the answers.
It would be nice of you could pan the inputs when using the direct monitoring function.
This is depressing. The problem is me. No blaming the gear any more.
@thesoundtestroom Have you noticed the iPad feels a tad warm after a couple of hours in the iTrack. Not alarmingly so but interested to know it's not just my unit.
No, mine gets hot too, probably because it charging and processing at the same time
Good to know it's not just me. I wonder if the heat is coming up from the dock? Probably is as you say the concurrent charge and use.
hello guys,
i'm french so sorry for my english.
did you have any problem to connect minilab and itrack?
my minilab don't product midi control on the itrackdock
Hi Ben, did you ask Focusrite about the 30 pin support?
@Shay said:
Sorry Ben I thought you were going to contact Focusrite, but I dont think it will and even if it did you would need an adaptor so it wouldn't sit in the dock part, you may be better of checking out the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and they do some great bundles on Amazon too
