Can u feel it, too?
Sorry I asked lol
Good is good. Sunrizer came out not long after the primordial soup (in iOS app years). iPhone 3GS? IOS 5? Xcode 3?
Sunrizer serves as a great reminder to app developers and songwriters that awesome is A) possible no matter the toolset and lasting.
Long live Sunrizer.
Still runs on iPad 1 and iOS 5.1.1. And still gets updates so that level of support is not orphaned yet.
I think the 1st beta was on ios 4.2, if my memory serves me well. I have seen so many versions of it, lol ...
And I'm still singing praises to giku, he is one of the few developers who listens to all my nagging and trust me I nag a lot, ask anybody relevant, lol
anyway, hope you enjoy sunrizer as much as I do
The finest VA on the AppStore is finally updated with AB 2 & Save State, IAA and MIDI functionality for the phrase sequencer, plus some bug fixes.

Woohoo! Thanks BeepStreet! Just tested, everything's great.
Long live Sunrizer.
The best synth for me and now with AB2. Cool!!!

still not available in germany.Patience...
edit:nevermind,got it.
Got it! I'm so glad I paid full price, well worth it. But remember the little people!
I've tried the IAA functionality with Multitrackstudio by Bremmers Audio design, but it doesn't work. When recording from MTS, the notes are recorded but there is no sound when playing back the recording. When recording from Sunrizer to MTS from within Sunrizer, there are no recorded notes in MTS.
iaa is a little wonky
we r @ it
fix will come asap
sorry
I had similar trouble trying to control it with Tabletop's Mastermind.
Sunrizer XS was for free once... Who knows?
I hope the iPhone version get an AB2 update as well.

Yeah sorry, but you're just plain wrong. Devs need to live too. This has nothing to do with stone age. Users just aren't willing to pay a decent amount of money for iPhone apps and so they have to be cheaper than the iPad app.
I'm not one to bitch about stuff like this in public but you guys really need to get this idea out of your heads that any iOS developer is getting rich on the backs of users by selling apps that replicate the functionality of hardware that is about 100 times more expensive.
btw. I dont get a single cent for doing this, not from beepstreet or anybody else I am in contact with. I just do it because I love music and want great tools. Maybe I am just stupid.
Given the volume of apps that users either need to purchase or are tempted to purchase as part of a functional workflow, and the limited resources many iOS musicmakers have to do so, I don't think it's surprising or wrong for consumers to demand cheaper apps or universal functionality where it seems to fit. (AudioBus is, after all, a universal app).
However, in the case of Sunrizer XS, which I believe is $2.99...please. I've purchased dozens of apps and you're singling out the one that is possibly the best value of any app I own. I purchased the iPhone version first to get a sense for how an iOS synthesizer worked and if this was something that was worth spending $5-$20 for full versions of iPad synths.
If the apps are really too expensive for you, by all means, don't buy them. I think you can look at what you pay for a video game, music album or any number of other "goods" and recognize pretty quickly that this stuff is not "overpriced" given the longevity of use. Even if you have to sort through a few duds to find a great app.
Brew your own coffee. Buy apps instead.
Anyone on a ipad 3 latest software having a problems using Sunrizer since the update within Cubasis, Tabletop and general IAA features, currently it's broke for IAA for me?
I've emailed Beepstreet and he is looking into it, just trying to gauge the problem?
Ya I can't get Sunrizer to play via MTS's keys in IAA. Works in BM2

I realize you went on to promote Sunrizer at full price on the iPad but the premise of this intro is just off to me. If you own an iOS device and a single good synth app, you're already ahead of the financial curve as compared to hardware synths (and I'd question the meaning of 'limited resources' if you own an iOS device). That you can turn that initial investment into a device with two good synth apps for an additional ten dollars is bordering on silly. Two good synth apps is enough to make great music.
Need: Meh. Give a creative/inspired producer iMPC (not even pro), Sunrizer and MTD and s/he could make masterpieces. That sound great. Obviously, I'm simplifying a bit and it will depend on the 'workflow' you want but having spent too much time last night watching old hip hop producers talk about making beats with 12 seconds of total sampling time (at 12bit/32khz or so) brings to a point just how spoiled we are. And I'm not sure we're any richer for it.
Tempted: It's certainly not developer A's fault that we're tempted by so many tasty low priced treats! And to @sebastian's point, the fact that some of us buy 4 out of 5 synth apps doesn't necessarily help Developer A pay the mortgage.
I'm generally all for universal apps but if split apps is a way to pay the bills (and update the apps I love), I'm more for that.
What we can do on an a7 now s just crazy
If only it had more RAM
I had a typical set up in the 90s, u know, synths, sampler, mixer patchbay and some fx, that stuff did cost 1000s of dollars
and it sounded like shit compared to what you can do on an ipad now
@lala: any news about Impaktor and AB2?
Similar experience here, spent over ten thousand dollars during the 90's trying to capture a fraction of the functionality I now have on this magical device thanks to the efforts of developers, people, who love music. I do consider myself to be much richer for it, my standard of living has improved markedly and it is very problematic for me as a user if developers are not able to continue this in future. The most magical apps for me so far have come from smaller companies like BeepStreet, INTUA, Sonosaurus, Audiobus etc.
Thanks to @lala for unpaid work on Sunrizer and to @syrupcore for being a constant voice of reason. Thanks to @everybody for helping iOS music to grow into something that has been life-changing for me.
Could someone please talk more about the phrase sequencer in the update?
I hope they upgrade Sunrizer XS to the full power of Sunrizer .I for one would happily pay again to have this awesome synthesizer on my IPod and also to support this great Dev!
You aint stupid and these are great tools. Never forget that for every wheel that squeaks there are a hundred who glide gracefully and are grateful.
