Bram bos apps disappeared
It’s only Gauss now in app store. Such happened to everyone, or am I the only lucky person? Or maybe it’s because I’m in Russia?
Comments
Yikes! I see everything
Could be yet another AppStore glitch...
Can you share the reactions of your community to the events in UK? I used to have an ex-Pat Russian friend that gave me insight on Crimea and the historical perspective that we don't see detailed in the western media. There are cultural perspectives that drive these conflicts.
I don't know but I've seen other devs announcing the removal of their apps from the Russian app store
Also, I heard a rumour about Apple, Google and Microsoft closing their app stores and other services in Russia tomorrow
I can. But let’s proceed to personal messages.
Charmingly.
Many of us here in the U.K who studied history to a certain degree and grew up in
the Cold War era know how valuable maintaining communication is during these times.
Oft times the real news comes through separate channels.
In todays headlines Banks in Europe have started to shut down their services
in regards to Russia and China has declared that it will not be supporting Russia in this conflict.
Two of China’s largest state-owned banks have restricted purchases of Russian commodities.
Even worse - some are complaining PornHub stopped working
oh no.
That’s really bad.
That might work quicker than SWIFT 😆
same for me, yeah
(also in russia)
All Bram apps are ok in Australian store.
most probably. 😁
@Jack_Wabba is pornhub actually down?
That site will survive all of us.
Now I’ll have to get my guitar out and shred all night.
I hope Putin&co are really into Hammerhead and now feel really bad
I'm sorry... I take too much for granted. Well wishes go out to everyone impacted by these events
in all bordering nations too. We pray for a speedy peaceful resolution of the conflict.
All Available in the uk App Store
Agreed.
🙏🏾
I'm not sure how it will affect Russia but it would have a dramatic impact on my government. Hopefully shutting down some services will be cause for reflection/retraction.
Stopping the innocent beatmakers and general population of Russia from accessing apps is hardly a fair punishment for the actions of the leadership
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-02-25/ukraine-urges-apple-to-cease-product-sales-app-store-in-russia
This is definitely true, but maybe not as simple. There was a terrible blockage on Cubans and they didn’t invade or go to war. The goal was to turn the population against their leadership and demand change from within, which is probably what’s happening here.
I’d say it’s unfair for those that don’t support Putin and his recent actions.
He tweeted about only being a days drive from the fighting, maybe something is down. Maybe lots of reasons, give it a few days, if not back by then there’s an issue.
It’s like having an abusive crazy stepdad who beats the crap out of you and terrorises your neighbours. And teachers take your toys, your lunch and give you bad grades to make you kill him faster. It's quite an experience to be afraid of both your country's actions and the actions of the outside world.
Still it can’t begin to compare to what’s happening to Ukraine right now.
I’d agree, but the AppStore is a small irritation as to the problems coming for us all.
of course. i was talking about how this situation is handled as a whole
I know, but what has happened is a seismic shift in geopolitics.
very effective analogy…thanks for sharing it!
Sadly I don't think Putin is into making beats...
Great analogy, it must be horrible living under that regime.
If it's true that they remove "creative" content from Russian stores, that would be very sad.
I remember that western music was illegal in the old CCCP days, but for the people it was liberating from the Communist pressure.
What they do now, is the opposite. The people got liberated in the last decades, and now they can't less access to (create) western music due to sanctions from the west.
Music connects people and should be accessible anywhere in the world.
