  • Thanks for the info, activated and downloaded.

As a delay, it's not as versatile as other creative plugins such as Other Desert Cities or Organism.

But it excels in its emulation of different analog characters, with a sound which is on par with Lunar Lander or AudioThing Wires.

Ideal to add color and character.

Two caveats: it's not M1 native, and at least in its VST3 version, it doesn't seem to include presets.

From what I remember (Yet to download, though I have it in the bag), I really like the sound of it (particularly with the added sims. But I found the (G)UI to be a little awkward/finicky. It's been a while since I tested it though. Perhaps this time around I'll be fine with it.

Glad you like it and that you'd put it alongside such alternatives. McDSP has always had a reputation for quality, but I'm sure they used to be a lot more expensive, back in the day, and reliant on a physical iLok. How things have changed ;)

Can you tell me what Organism is?
Tried a search but didn’t come up with much

    No thanks. :)

It's a very interesting, unique sounding (and free!) plugin...

The download link seems to redirect you to the dev's patreon page though, so free comes at 5/month unless I'm doing something wrong

Edit: I am wrong. Didn't notice the downloadable zip file.

Should be able to download the zip file without becoming a patron (I was able to) but perhaps you need a Patreon account (which I have)?

You're right, I just noticed that zip myself myself as I was about to send an email asking about the purchase price. Also, thank you for the quick reply 🙏

If these are as good as they look, I'd sign up for a few months to offer some form of compensation.

    Thanks!

    +1.

  • Talking about Engelen Audio plugins, Atmoverb is also fantastic. And like Organism, an incredible creative tool with a few new ideas.
