  • I watched this yesterday. A pretty neat solution although for the cost you'd be better off buying a MacBook Air M1.

    +1.

Annoying clickbait. It is nothing to do with a new iPad. Some stupid video of a guy hacking a Mac mini.

  • So much ingenuity to produce something so useless if it only runs on mains power.

3D printers are still way too expensive:(

  • March the 8th.

  • Click Bait but cool though..LOL
March 8 ....YES! hope APPLE drops an IPAD MI 2

  • I was considering a Mac Mini with Push 2 and an iPad as the Ableton screen. Bonus Apple Pencil use.

  • Ah, can you run a mini with just an iPad as the screen? I’ve been thinking about getting a MacBook as I might be away later in the year, but if I can get a mini and just use the iPad that I’ll probably take anyway, that’d kill two birds with one stone, and likely be way cheaper pound/performance wise…

  • The MacMini M1 is solid.

    The iPad 11” is great.

Putting the two together with cheap homemade plastic makes no sense LOL.

  • A project I could get more into would have a mini-projector as the monitor. Thats a take-anywhere desktop that I would use.

20” screen at a desk for work, 100” screen on the hotel wall for movies, 12” screen at the coffee shop if you want. Way more versatile and doesn’t waste my fancy iPad by turning it into just a fixed monitor.
