Just noticed this post on Twitter - sounds like the developer might be from Russia - which I didn’t realize..?
Anyways - hope things work out ok - but I wonder if his apps might be short lived? It’d be a shame to lose them - they’re all quite great!

That's just the thing. The war started by Putin doesn't only hurt "one side." Wars never hurt just one side. There are people in Russia with no interest in wars, especially after their own experience in Afghanistan for a decade.

This is the dilemma. They have banned Russian commercial flights into many countries. PayPal, netflix etc cutting off their services in Russia. Sports teams banned from tournaments etc.
They are punishing the people of Russia that in turn damages the economy and puts pressure on putin.
Should i stop buying Russian products? It impacts the working people who are probably against the war but it also takes money from the Russian economy and putins pocket.
What is really sad is Russia is not the type of place you can revolt and stand up against the war though there are brave people doing that.
We have to remember the innocent people of Russia opposed to the war are victims in this also. I can see the economic impact in my country and I'd say many countries around the world are the same. Obviously nothing compared to the poor people of Ukraine but the world is being impacted

In all wars there are innocent casualties on both sides - not always directly from the military weapons being used on the ground or in the air.
This war is no different, sadly 😔

I have bought Velvet Machine for the desktop, it's one of my favorites iOS effects.
Trying this in Bitwig with Preparation, the newer synth by Physical Audio. Velvet Machine sounds as impressive as the first time.
There is none other thing in the plugin world with its distinctive sound.
I hope that he and all the developers caught in the middle of this nonsense, Russians or Ukrainians, are doing well.
