Send MIDI PC Message to ByPass Fx in AUM?

Hi,
I am trying to bypass an fx in a channel in AUM using MIDI control. I “think” I have set up the MIDI control part set up to bypass this fx when a MIDI Program Change message is sent on Channel 1, with a value of six. [see image below]

HOWEVER…. when I send out, what I believe is…. a MIDI Program Change on channel 1, with a value of 6, the Fx block is not being bypassed ……. OR let me say this….. VISUALLY it’s not moved over to the side.

I am using a MIDI monitor to see what MIDI messages are being sent. [see image below]

Any Thoughts????
I REALLY…. REALLLY….. REALLLLY…… . hope that when the correct MIDI Program Change is sent, the fx block moves over to the left :: otherwise it’s going to be very, very, very, very confusing for me.

Thanks!!!

  • Oh…. by the way…… what does the “cycle” mean?

check with a midi monitor to see what midi event is being received. if you don't have one yet, get streambyter. you can use it as a midi monitor without knowing anything about how to use the plugin

cycle means that it will switch between on and off when the program change is received

  • It should work like you expect.
Make sure the thing sending the PC message is connected to Midi Control in AUM.
Maybe try using the midi learn. If it learns, you are good.
Cycle means….you got that answered already.

  • Hi…. thanks for the replies…… I loaded StreamByter and used it as a monitor as well. The same results - it “seems” like the MIDI Program Change message is getting sent out, unless I’m missing something . [see image below]

  • I GOT IT………
    I GOT IT

    I GOT IT………..

I had to go into the general routing Matrix in AUM, and take the MIDI output from Mozaic, which was generating the MIDI message and route that to AUM’s MIDI control pannel

Thanks so much for all your help!!
