This video covers the following:

  • Intro to the app
  • Intro to UI and controls
  • New type of controls
  • Changing presets
  • Simulate some scenarios for input sound sources via AUM

  • Part 2 coming very shortly… we will progress gradually and learn how to use this new fantastic app control by control…

The mangler concept is great, the Euclidean application on steps / pulses is fantastic…

You can create some unique sound textures to apply to your composition, movie / ambient music and much more…

As always with apps like this sound experimentation is a key goal…

    Enjoy…

  • You are making a synth?: When is that thing coming out? Thanks for the tutorial but I'm looking forward to see Spacefields in more detail

  • Thanks for this. I’m looking forward to future installments.

Yes, I always make the first tutorial more an introduction for beginners or people that do not know much about the app and then progressively I go deeper into more detailed topics with the next videos. In this way I cover a wider audience … I also provide normally giveaway on the first video, not always depending on the developer…

Yes I have been building a synth, it already works as you heard on the video, it was a simple patch 2 oscillators… it had reverb on, ADSR is implemented, different type of generators have been built like sine, square and sawtooth… just pondering how much to add before releasing it… perhaps I build FM synthesis on it and a sampler as well to make it more interesting… as you could see it was already an AUv3 and run already in standalone mode and also on a MacBook …

  • What are you building it with?

  • Ok, this might seems a bit boring, but I think it is good to create an init preset as it will help explaining how parameters work in the coming tutorials.

    This video includes:

    • Create an init preset
    • Change input and output levels
    • Dry and Wet parameters
    • High Pass Filter and Saturator (select the right input sound to hear the difference)

I hope you enjoy and do not forget to subscribe.

How do you clear (initialize) the IR in the Reverb section?

  • @sfm I'm eagerly waiting for your next part :)
The init setup tutorial was a good one.

  • Time to check how the 3 loop Playback Outputs work.

    This video includes:

    • Work in Direct Mode
    • Change level, pan, feedback, feedback rates, filters and chorus for each output
    • Change length in beats of the cycle processed
    • Splitting the cycle into steps using the Euclidean Rhythm algorithm
    • Change the number of pulses played by each Output

I hope you enjoy and do not forget to subscribe.
