Does not record MPE (slide/glide) id700/samplewiz. Animoog-👌
Hi all. tell me who knows. I can not register notes from the id700 mpe controller. prescribes just individual notes and the slider does not want to. I tried all the settings in both Cubasis and aum with atom2. routing does not help. Animoog Z registers normally when setting channels to mpe. and ID700 does not want. what could be the problem? thanks. tried with KB-1 - works. It turns out that the built-in keyboard is registered without mpe? what's the point then?
and samplewiz doesn't write from his keyboard either😊Only animoog z works fine. why in aum is not displayed in the samplewiz routing (where the built in keyboard goes). Animoog appears there, id700 too (just doesn't work properly), and samplewizwiz doesn't exist at all. and in cubasis the signal does not go from the saplewiz keyboard. what am I doing wrong?

Hi. I just tried stand-alone ID700 into AUM with StreamByter as a monitor. The ID700 keynoard definitely sends MPE, notes on different channels, including Pitch Bend (glide) and CC74. I assume you enabled it in the ID700 settings. Someone else can comment on recording MPE in other apps.
I turned it on and off, but it is the mpe recording that does not go. just write the notes. if you turn on id700 in the routing, for example, with a midi sequencer, a dirty sound just starts (both in cubasus and in aum). I've rummaged through the settings - nothing helps.
Can you see the MPE output from ID700 on a midi monitor, like StreamByter?
Are you running ID700 stand-alone, or as AUv3 in the host (AUM or Cubasis)?
I haven't tried it yet. works fine only moog😊 id700 is just layering notes on top of each other arbitrarily, samplewiz does not allow you to connect to several tracks to record in atom.

I’d check to see if id700 as an AU sends out MPE before sinking more time into troubleshooting.
streambyter? I never used it. and if id700 does not send then why?
If you have another MIDi monitor you could use it. Streambyter is free. You can ignore its script abilities and just use the MIDI monitor. The why question doesn't matter. The question is whether it is sending MPE info or not.
Thanks for chiming in. I just tried this, with ID700 as AUv3 in AUM. It's a bit strange because loads as an audio source, but it does have a MIDI output. The StreamByter monitor shows that it sends only Note On/Off messages, even though MPE is enabled. ID700 does send MIDI when loaded stand-alone or as IAA. You can route the output to "AUM", and receive it from "AUM Destination" inside AUM. So it can be used as an MPE controller that way.
I'm not sure I did everything right. but one note is played. when you move the slide changes but the output in the monitor is nothing. only one note is fixed

@uncledave : it isn’t strange for an audio unit that can send audio and midi to be listed as ID700 is.
@solncekreeze : you don’t need to route the midi monitor output back to ID700. You might want to write to the dev to request that the AUv3 send MPE out. It is possible that it is an oversight that it isn’t sending it.
thanks a lot. i tried different things. I will definitely write modosc. and samplewiz is also not functional. in general moog well done😀
