DrumComputer - this is worth trying 😃
Maybe you do this already - it’s perhaps an obvious strategy but I’ve just discovered this and I’m well pleased with the results. I got the idea from messing around with Future Drummer - which only has a small amount of drums per pattern. It’s quite simple really - though the results are terrific.
Less is more is the key. Mute 5,6,7 & 8 and keep them muted. Now bring in any kit - random or otherwise and keep hitting that random pattern button. The results are uncluttered yet quite sophisticated thumping electronic beats - (as I said with that Future Drummer sort of flavour). Start adding track 8 first when you are wanting to build it up a little - that’s usually some harmless but nice ambient sound.

Cool idea, since it can sometimes get over crowded quickly.

Sweet. I appreciate any ideas that give me yet another way to appreciate this app that I appreciate so much!

This is how I use DrumComputer as a drum sequencer for other apps (via midi)
Only the first 4 channels are from DrumComputer usually into DigiStix and then layered with some sort of other percussion app BORSTA Skaka Brams Rozetta Rhythm (a polyrhythmic sequencer)
This is dope thank you. I just screen recorded like 29 minutes of jamming like this and threw it in Ableton live. The idea of using it as a sequencer for other things is intriguing. Do u guys think Sugar Bytes will have a spring sale?
