Can you program Bheringer RD-909 from iOS?
This is a challenge question, or maybe not? Maybe it’s easily achievable.
@SevenSystems can Xequence run external hardware?
..Im going to check the manual.. but I thought it was an interesting question none the less.
Have a great day guys

Yes of course. Any hardware MIDI ports will appear in Xequence as MIDI Destinations / Sources.
*The protagonist of the post then proceeded to buy two hardware synths
Which 2nd? 😉
Xequence is the brain behind my gear (EMX, EA, ER, SP-404, MC-303, TD-3, ST-224 and dare I say, sometimes even the Yamaha QY-70). Sometimes I write stuff directly on Xequence. BUt sometimes I send sequences (and backup) from the gear to it.
Mix and match
@inder909
Prophet Take 5 and Space Bee! Why not?
Maybe I can record the midi in loopy pro and keep twisting knobs?
And I could also bother seven systems forever to make them all work together with midi In(:
I think it would be desireable to run the drums from Xequence.
Seems like alot of midi sends for all the knobs,?
Never tried to control hardware from software before.
I was trying dawless last time
I also have this MAM MB 33(and another one) and I wanna get a Cyclone 606.
-Analog, record on casette, why not?
That ought to be enough for a couple of genras!
I think the prophet can make some pianoesque sounds
Time to travel with a suitcase instead of a backpack if it ever comes together.
@senhorlampada
This is seriously beautiful.
Btw, do you ever so both, send signal, edit it in xequence and send it back?
Or is like one side off when you are doing the other?
Im having brain block sometimes still when theorycrafting setups^^
@senhorlampada
Do you ever consider bluetooth midi with 4-5-6 hardware synths? I guess they can all go in the patch bay anyway, wired or not.
Still need the cable for the soundcard so,,
Maybe it would be nice to throw the sunths around tho, without the cables
Generally I start some parts in xequence, and others I may start in the hardware and then send it to xequence. But have never recorded it back on the hardware. Just sequencing it using xequence. Not sure if I answered your question (kind of sleepy right now
)
Regarding bluetooth, i'm to lazy/afraid to try it. But I have wondered the same as you
