Bleass Phase Mutant Preset Demo and Silent Knob-Twiddling Walkthrough

Bleass Phase Mutant Preset Demo and Silent Knob-Twiddling Walkthrough

A lot of fun! This is a simple demo using Mononoke, but shows the possibilities of the app. Anyone familiar with previous Bleass plugins should pick up how to use it very easily.

  • Short here demoing this on percussion:

    Apps used:
    Borsta
    Glitchcore
    Alteza
    Phase Mutant

  • After watching a few videos I guess this one isn’t for me. I can do everything this one does using other means. I’ll wait to see what they come up with next.

What would you use, out of curiosity?

When I choose a new plugin these days, I consider both iOS and macOS compatibility, so most, if not all of these effects would be replicated on desktop for me ultimately (if I wanted to duplicate a particular sound). AudioModern’s free plugins might play a part, the built in distortion and overdrive in GarageBand might play a part, Caelum Audio’s Beef might play a part. Again, it depends on what I want a sound to do in the mix, since these tones and effects seldom exist in complete isolation.

  • A 3rd demo - this one very meditative, adding Alteza and using one of Hainbach’s most beautiful Fundamental presets (which are still available in Fundamental 2, for better or worse😅)

True - but I must say I love Bleass UIs - my favourite iOS dev in that regard

They are brilliantly simple, aren't they?

Just incredible, intuitive UIs, but amazing innovation too. Motion FX probably remains the standout one for me.

  • I am regularly getting a bad signal message in aum with Phase Mutant. Anyone else?

Yeah, I've seen that before with Phase Mutant. Happens pretty often for me.

Thanks - have you told the devs? The more people report it the more chance it'll be fixed!
