This is how you make, save and load templates in AUM. Templates can contain channel settings, AUv3 instruments, FX slot settings, bus-routings, midi mappings and bookmarks.

Great video! For project-level templates, I've grown really fond of the AUM "Default" folder functionality. Projects in this folder can be loaded like templates in a blank session and you don't have to remember to save it under a new name once you load it! IMO one of the nicest "minor" features to hit AUM in the past year. That feature is documented here under "Default Session".
That’s how I do it. I don’t always start with a template but I have a good amount of them for different situations. Keeping them all in a Template folder makes it easy to find them too.
