Figures Lives! New Electronic Soundtrack

I always forget how fun an inspirational starting a track in Figure can be. Get a lit drums, bass and lead going and then bring each part separately into NS2 and then build from there. This is my first new track in four months or so. Maybe because it's finally Spring.

  • Loved the track, mate. 🥰 I love figure too. It has the essential to build the base for a track and then work it up (like you did amazingly).

How did you do it with NS2? The ol' mute+export?

  • @senhorlampada Thank you! And yes, the ol' mute+export! Had to use AudioShare as a go-between, but whole process took less than a minute or two to get everything into Slate pads in NS2.

Good to know. One of these days I was trying to record figure live playing into BM3 pads, but I had the impression it wasn't too efficient. When I do this recording to hardware (such as SP-404 or Boss MicroBR), it's better.

I'm going back to exporting again while all iOS

Btw, hope this is only the first of many tracks you drop.

  • Supernice, sounded really big, and spring-y.

  • Enjoyed that one a lot, very upbeat, liked the ‘false’ endings. Excellent track.
