Would Be Conquerors

Sorry, I just had to get this off my chest!

Earth’s history is filled with would be conquerors (they’re a dime a dozen).
Seems like there’s always a new egotistical one ready to make the same mistakes as his predecessors, thinking he will succeed where they have failed, thinking he’s smarter, superior.

All they ever accomplish is to stir hate and lies leaving pain, fear, destruction (including their own) and death in their wake.

Often they pretend to care about “their” people but they don’t. They only lust for what they think is power but they still feel empty and they never have enough.

Do they really think that power will make them happy? That crushing the dreams of others will fulfill theirs?

Technical info

Tweaking in realtime a Qneo Voice Synth factory preset and second track with 4 speech samples from my Memory Collection packs, sounds from public domain movies.

Note that the speech samples are NOT processed by Qneo Voice Synth

    Just great. I love this kind of stuff. I keep trying to remember the Robert Plant song… what is it? Was it even Robert Plant? I think so…. But I’m not sure!
