APC40 mk2 show device being used
The APC40 mk2 can switch between devices being used to process sound which is great, however it does not give an indication on the machine as to which device you are currently using. Which means when you are using with something like Loopy Pro you are almost blind as to which device you are controling. DeadPish on Discord suggested leving one dial free and setting that so you could see which device you are on which is a good idea but you loose a dial. Anyone able to think of another solution? Would be great to have a button illuminated on screen inside Loopy to show the device in action. Weird thing is the switch device button does not seem to send a midi trigger or one that is recognised to Loopy.
Any help would be wonderful. Thanks for your time.

The doc, Akai APC40 Mk2 Communications Protocol, suggests that the DEVICE LEFT/RIGHT send MIDI notes 0x3A and 0x3B. You should see this in a MIDI monitor. Seems like it's up to the app to know which device is being controlled.
