And still sounds fantastic, all these years later
Because Animoog Z amounts to a total rewrite from the ground up of the original app.
I’m turning it into an NFT.
The original Animoog IAA only app still sounds great. Animoog Z is extraordinary, but only reasons other than sound (i.e., prejudices) can make one denigrate the euphonic sound of the original.
I think the intro for iPhone price was either 25 cents, or 2 and a half bucks…
OG Animoog for $.99 was probably the best deal ever. I didn’t get in on it…
I still use the original a lot because I was stupid and didn’t unlock Z when it was $10. I can make patches in there and open them in Z and it’s fine but I need to give Moog my $20 now. They could have a sale on Moog Day next month, right? Maybe I will wait and get all the expansions as well if they do. Waited this long…
There it is. That’s where I bought in. Ridiculous $. I can’t remember what the iPhone was. Free?
I still prefer the look of the first version. And like I say, it still sounds great. Can’t really afford to upgrade, but one day f'sure
I still use use the old one sometimes. So familiar.
