REM / Pxlhg’s AddStation
@Pxlhg’s AddStation presets are a bit of a challenge, but he did get me thinking out of the box.
3x AddStation (all Pxlhg’s) and 2x CubeSynthPro.

The filter sweeps and echos with another tone quality are very cool. I'd drench this in some shimmer reverb to add depth. FAC Alteza never fails to instantiate additional universes for terrestrial musings.
@McD, it’ll give some shimmer a try, but I’m not partial to the effect. It creates a kind of sameness, for me.
A “type” of sound that distracts from the original content. It does create an instant atmosphere, but I think things can be lost as a result.
Very nice Mike! A very filmic journey, well in my head at least, and also, a personal reward for my work with the presets - thank you!
(btw: I do not get tagged when you add an apostrophe to my handle - just so you know )
Thanks @Pxlhg. No more apostrophe’s! I added TB shimmer below as per @McD’s advice. You think it’s better?
@McD. You know, when I last used a shimmer effect I didn’t know enough to automate it. I used TB Shimmer on this… doesn’t mix in for 10 or q5 seconds. Can you hear the difference? Is it better? Thx for the advice. I will try to remember to use it when appropriate.
Another great promotion for Virsyn and good use of Pxlhg’s sound designs.
There's a lot of high frequency content in one of these synths. The reverb helps.
I'll try another listening device and see if that rolls back the highs some more... Oh yeah! Much smoother in my Status headphones.
@McD, I chose the “octave up” on the Shimmer. Maybe that was it.
