Bad Bansuri / SWAM Bass Flute At Last

I was reaching for the Tenor Sax but decided to give the SWAM Bass Flute another shot. It had never quite worked for me… but this time it did.

Last exploration of AddStation and CubeSynthPro for now. @onkey came through again with his powerful bass/organ patch, St Tramp, that @Daveypoo might groove to in Rome. Listen for the high pitched Rhodes leak through in the beginning. Very cool.

That and Indian Drummer created the foundation to play the Bansuri mode over. Add 2x CubeSynthPro and a Micrologue ARP.

Next stop LaPlace.

  • Very cool combination of sounds/instruments. The drums and bass are really solid and inviting and the flute sounds great; the rest of the synths complete the thing excellently, like in the sequence at 2:00.

  • Really enjoyed this one. The phrasing I thought was well done.
Did I miss it or what did you use for bass?

  • @JudasZimmerman, yes, the CubeSynthPro adornments work great, I think.
@Ben, the bass is a patch from AddStation by @onkey. At the treble end you can hear it as the organ like sound. Thanks for commenting!

  • Pretty cool. Kind of like if Quincy Jones scored The Pink Panther.

  • @Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr, exactly…. Pink Panther… I knew it was heartening from somewhere. I hear the Quincy, too.
