How High The Moon / Krachy Encounters Spidericemidas

3rd track with tenor sax master, Charley Krachy. This time with 3 @Spidericemidas KASPAR sound designs, Jubal Flute and 2x Cubasis Microsonic choirs.

5 tracks of Charley’s solo line. Shades of Coltrane, Miles and Gershwin in this one. Some great groans from Charley near the end (4:10, 5:20) and a never before heard sax sound (2:50). Music making can be hard work in the real world, dig the breathing!

  • They just get better and better.

  • Thank you @Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr. I agree, I think this is the best one so far, but I also think listeners might have a hard time getting that this is a jazz track without a bass and drums. So, I appreciate your digging it.

  • I’ve listened twice and still can’t hear the How High changes. I don’t know if it’s the parallel voices throwing me off or maybe Charlie is just that slippery.

  • The synth/sax combination sounds just fantastic on this one. And mysterious.

@Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr, it’s there, for sure, especially at the beginning. It’s in G. If you can play along with an instrument I’m pretty sure you’ll hear it. It does get more wiggy as it goes along. It’s interesting, jazzers are having a harder time with this. Frankly, it has been my experience that some can be a bit close minded when it comes to the “preciousness “of jazz. But, IMO, this is absolutely the opposite of the true spirit of jazz.

@JudasZimmerman, very glad you like this one.
