Another loopy pro question, this time about midi parameters
I've spent the last couple of days really getting into loopy pro. Definitely haven't mastered it but getting better.
What I can't work out is how to set up a controller, like an X Y pad, to control a MIDI audio unit.
I CAN, for example, get an X Y pad to control the parameters of an audio unit like the expression or flutter on a SWAM flute, but I can't work out how to access the same sorts of parameters on a MIDI unit like the Note Length or OffSet on ZOA.
For the flute: Edit pad, X value change, 'adjust audio unit parameter'
For ZOA I assume it would be the same process: edit pad, X value change
...but I don't see ZOA in the 'adjust audio unit parameter' list, nor do I see any other obvious list for it to be on. Maybe I should be using 'Send MIDI message' noti don't seem to be getting anywhere there either.
Hope this is clear. I'll post a vid if not.
Any thoughts?
(I've been going through the manual, and watching the (excellent) sound for more tutorials, but no joy..)

It looks like Loopy is missing Adjust AU Parameter actions for MIDI AU
@Michael is this on the radar?
@nickneek : do you know if ZOA provides MIDI control of its functionality?
@espiegel123 thanks again for your help. I just thought i was missing something.
Re: ZOA, you can definitely automate note length and velocity in aum using something like rosetta LFO. (And also use it to send CC to synths/effects too).
In AUM, are you doing it via AUM’s MIDI Control? (Which works by accessing the AU parameters). If so, that won’t be possible till AU param control is added for midi AU.
Yep, through the midi control.
No biggie that loopy doesn’t have this yet, easy enough just to do the midi routing in aum and record it into loopy from there. My main reason for wanting to is just to get a bit of variation in the notes that come out of ZOA and OODA
Yep I’ll be doing this shortly!
@Michael great! Really really loving loopy
Thank you!
