Piano Motifs Facelift Giveaway

Despite not being IAA or AUv3, Piano Motifs is one of the most musical midi generators on the iOS platform and has a huge fan base. It's cheap as chips and the dev, Fernando, has been incredibly responsive to user suggestions. He's updated this app non-stop, and this new free update brings the UI to another level entirely. It's very easy with the IAP to route its midi to the app of your choice.

I have 5 copies of the IAP for the full version to give away. 3 for YouTube, 1 for Twitter, 1 for Insta. To have a chance to win on YouTube a) subscribe and hit 'all' on the notification bell b) like the vid c) write a comment, any comment, in the comments section. Winners will be announced in 2 days.

It'll take maybe half an hour after the youtube vid is launched for the Twitter and Insta posts to go live but links are in the pinned YT comment.

  • Anyone know if It’s the lack of IAA that prevents me from routing the midi into Cubasis3 and if there is a workout?

  • As long as an app can communicate using Virtual Midi Ports there's no need for IAA...

  • Wow is it different. So far so good though.

You can route the virtual midi or core midi.

  • I thought C3 had that feature but if not an app like midi tools by @blueveek has a built in Au to help

  • @azul3D_Apps digging the new ui.

I just had a small issue with saving an arrangement. It kept changing the name I typed in to the bpm and a number, after I saved it. It usually adds the track stuff at the end but when saving an arrangement i had to uncheck the box for it to save the song exactly as the name I typed in. Otherwise it overrides that name, with box checked, and was saving it as 77bpm 1, instead of adding the info to the end of the track name. I’m on iOS 15.4.2

This UI is sooooo much nicer. Hats off to Fernando!

I haven't used Piano Motifs with Cubasis3, but if Cubasis has MIDI In functionality (can be a virtual MIDI destination), Piano Motifs should be able to route MIDI to it.

    Hi @Poppadocrock,
Sorry you're having issues with arrangement name saving. I haven't been able to reproduce the issue. I will DM you with some questions so we can get to the bottom of it.
