  • You are absolutely right. This is a good one. From the opening with just the piano to the swelling strings near the end.

  • A lovely elegant piano piece with a surprise. That ARP coming in at 2:43 is actually very Trancey! If you put a 4 on the floor beat underneath that section, you’d have a new genre, classical trance! Good stuff as always 👍

  • I also liked the subtle mood change at 2:43. Transitioning smoothly from peaceful, to a sense of restrained urgency. Good one.

  • Beautiful!

    +1!

  • Thanks for listening @Spidericemidas @MadeofWax @JudasZimmerman @Paulieworld. These Philip Glass type pieces are fun. I was listening to his Metamorphosis and he begins with a series of block chords so I gave that a go on this one. Of course, I can never be as minimalistic as he is.

  • Yes… a really good one, Mike. Like a interesting wine it has hints of other sources: Philip Glass, Bach, Randy Newman, Keith Jarrett and many others that can spin a fantasy from a fountain of broken chords. Such interesting choices along the way and very satisfying for my predictive sense of where we might be going with pleasant surprises when we don’t: and where we go is so much better than my prediction.

Ageed! But watch out for those rarefied oxygen levels.

  • Thanks for listening @Stochastically. I appreciate it. And thanks for the good review @McD. It means a lot,
