Wouldn't this be super easy to do in AUM with a doubled track and minor pitch shift settings?
i didn’t buy it yet, but probably. however, there are so many times that you just wanna quickly
get double guitars without the setup. just being able to add this app right after an amp and get a double guitar sound super quick.
i’m gonna get it for that reason.
I must be getting old because my brain hurt after listening to that (effective) demo. Remember when there was nuance to mixing in the stereo field? And get off my lawn!
This looks like an interesting tool but if I'm not mistaken, an app like Toneboosters Voiceshifter can do similar things plus extra pitch shifting madness

Oh, @Poppadocrock, I was referring to TB VoicePitcher, not Nembrini’s Doubler. Sorry for the confusion. Yeah, Doubler is $4.99.
If anyone owns an Eventide H9, do they see an advantage for the Nembrini app over the ADT presets on the H9? (Of course, being an AuV3 app itself is an advantage when working in iOS.)

Very well done and it will sell a lot of copies to people that probably didn’t know they would use it as often as they will in future. It’s a widener, thickener and reverb in execution.

Any reason for getting this doubler if you already own TB VoicePitcher?.
I don’t know about the other apps mentioned upthread (TB Voicepitcher, Micropitch) as I don’t own those, and I do use Infected Mushroom all the time… I’m not sure if the Nembrini Doubler is the same kind of app. I spent 20 or so minutes with the beta and got incredible use out of it, just not as a doubler. Sure with the “wide guitar” preset you get more guitar in the right headphone. But twiddling around with the knobs reveals a really unique effect. It is like a dual tremolo. You get this swampy deep dual tremolo that also seems to be kind of random. The tremolo speed can be slow or fast, and it never gets to zero amplitude, it just sounds like two harmonic/dynamic tremolos playing off one another, and some flutter. So it must be doubling, panning, and offsetting in such a way that it sounds awesome and instantly usable to add constant movement to a chord. It uncannily sounds like a random wave dual tremolo. Do other “doubler” apps do this??
One of your guitar part sounds like My Bloody Valentine and another one sounds like Mogwai. Is it just my imagination?
Yes, that's what I meant. It was not my intention to dismiss Doubler by Nembrini. Everything I heard in this thread sounds really good and I am really aware of Nembrini quality (I own most of their amp sims which are a delight). But I bought Toneboosters VoicePitcher shortly before the release of Doubler and you can get very similar effect than with Doubler. I own Micropitch too, but never dived deep enough in it. Can you achieve similar results with it as well?
Glad that's what you're hearing. Same Jazzmaster guitar, different guitar amp presets (used Nembrini's 8180).
