    @VirSyn congrats on the release!

I got a hard audio crash in AUM where I needed to restart the host as well as the synth. Very rare for AUM. I’m also finding that the dice function only seems to work selectively? Most of the time you press it and nothing seems to happen.

    Looking forward to diving in!

Dice functions are buggy for me.
11” m1 iPad Pro, latest iOS.
50/50 if it actually does anything.
It’s a hungry beast, but it sounds lovely

  • What a cool synth! One bug report from me: Bluetooth MIDI doesn’t work in standalone. With AudioLayer it works. iPad Pro 2021 latest iPadOS. Thank you!

  • Lots of issues with it just now in AUM. Worked at first with opening preset but then no other presets would make a sound (?) ….

I’m on investigating this right now. Crazy thing…

    Cool :)

  • Heavy percentage usage…just one node of Tera Pro, added KORG Module piano and only a few notes brought it to it’s knees at about 85-90%!

    what hardware and buffer size?

  • I'm interested in buying this, but these high CPU usage reports are putting me off...

Currently using a 2017 iPad Pro 2 12.9", but not sure if it's powerful enough to handle this beast

  • OODA > Tera Pro > Flux Pro in apeMatrix was fun

I’m using the same hardware … and it does mean being careful how we use Tera Pro (or any other CPU heavy synth for that matter). Most of the new patches (I.e. not the legacy ones) are more than usable provided the polyphony isn’t too high.

  • @VirSyn

I got a window size/resizing bug on cubasis 3 which leads to the auv3 crashing. The small window does not show all the synth UI, it's cut off at the bottom, it lags when you try to resize and if you try to touch the synth UI it crashes. It only works properly when the window is maximized.

  • Getting some spikes / glitching in audio, when I re-open AUM projects. The glitching doesn't stop until I remove Tera Pro and re-add a new instance. It happens everytime I re-open the session even I have removed and re-saved. iPad Pro 2020.

  • Does Tera Pro allow you to "modulate the intensity of a modulation", like Zeeon or Mela?

In most cases you can modulate the intensity of modulations with Tera Pro. You can use already modulated outputs of the envelopes and the LFOs by selecting the appropriate output of them, e.g. ADSR1 * ModWheel or LFO3 * Aftertouch and so on.
The LFO outputs can be modulated by wiring the LFO level modulation input with some other output.

  • Good news to everyone and especially...

An update fixing hopefully all pending problems is waiting for Review, expected to be released today.

    Thank you for your patience

  • @VirSyn Thank you for responding. :) I'm definitely going to buy it soon. The sound engine is one of the best I've heard. So you said "in most cases"...I'm wondering, what are the exceptions?

    So if you assign:
    ADSR 1 --> LFO 1 Rate

Then in the list of destinations for LFO 2, you'll see "ADSR 1 * LFO 1 Rate"

But then in the list of destinations for LFO 3, you won't see "LFO 2 * ADSR 1 * LFO 1 Rate" but you will see "LFO 2 Level" but that would affect anything else LFO 2 is routed to, so you would have to use a duplicate of LFO 2 if you want it to be routed to anything else?

  • @VirSyn : Until what day will the introductory price be available?

How do you get to the submix controls? -I’m trying to get the output of two oscillator into the shaper…

Also, is there a way to mix two modulators? - I’m thinking about how you have cutoff affected both by an envelope and a LFO…

(I’m having much fun this morning making an easel inspired patch - some probability in the arp/sequencer would be epic)

I have no such problems in AUM

  • as others mentioned above i have lots of problems in AUM too.
when loading a song with tera pro sometimes there is no sound at all. if i eject tera from its slot AUM is freezing.
sometimes when i load a song i have the very load noise sound too.
sometimes it does not load the sound as it was edited a day before.
i hope this could be fixed soon.

Great Harry, truly a fantastic sounding synth, mind blown (as usual)!

Set input of Mixer 4 to Osc 1, Mixer 5 to Osc 2
Set input of shaper to Submix 4-5 out
Set input of Amp or Filter to Shaper out

The three sliders below the Cut-off knob are the Modulators, select envelope as input for one and LFO as input for the second:

Look out for patches named "Krell..." in the Xperimental folder...
In the ADSR 1 of the AMP you'll see EOC triggering ( envelope retrievers after end of envelope ) and randomised envelope times to create endless varying joy...

Cheers Harry, can’t believe I missed the cutoff thing, I thought the next one along referred to tracking levels… I’ve just figured out the mixer thing, makes sense; use 1-3 for output mixing, 4-5 for the oscillator into shaper…

I’ve noticed those presets, not tried them yet but will look there for more inspiration. Nice one 🙏

This is a very clever synth, great work 👍

this is surprisingly deep then, it's just a bit confusing for me I guess I gotta play around and take notes, then hope some synth expert here makes a in depth tutorial.

  • @VirSyn I'm playing with it now. I love the collapsible modules. I also love the ability to pin a modulation source to the right of the module. The variety of synthesis methods, and the multi-segment envelopes, definitely great features. The modulation options, better than most. Great selection of factory presets.

Update is working really well. So good! Layering two patches adds so much dynamics to the sounds.
