  • Was out sniffing flowers the entire weekend. Which of the sounds here are the new VHS synths?

    Certainly sounds like Spring.
This is a wonderful piece, filled with bubbling happiness.

    The pizzicato's are lovely.
This track made my head nod, perfect.

    Thanks for sharing.

    A pleasure as always.

Muted nylon guitar? that's good to know for the future.

@Gravitas the acoustic guitars, in general, in PSP are quite good.

Agreed! Also the Bass sounds, specifically the electric bass guitars are, in my opinion, unbeatable on the platform (Bassalicous 2 which is merged into PSP)

I’m good for electric bass sounds, I have my bass guitar.
Thank you for the recommendation though.

I have a couple bass guitars too, along with my other guitars. Just saying, for when its the middle of the night, and you can’t (or don’t feel like) plugging guitars in (in my case, when I finally have a free hour or two, it’s usually when everyone else in the house is asleep, and I don’t want to wake everyone up by messing with guitar cables, or strumming on guitar strings that even with headphones on, still make enough noise to wake everyone up) then these are some of the best samples.

Of course if you’re single, you can make noise anytime you want lol

    I hear this.
Truth betold, I literally cannot get the same grooves happening
using a keyboard hence why I mentioned my bass guitar.
When using a keyboard I use synth sounds which have a different groove to them
so my electric bass is always close to hand and that has enough tone control
to cover most of the electric bass tones that I need.

Of course if you’re single, you can make noise anytime you want lol

Well,...obviously but in my case whether single or not I am always able to play music.
I have walked away from relationships when they've said "Your music or me".
    Thankfully so.

  • I could listen to just your piano playing and be satisfied, but then you go and add all these other interesting bits that add so much to the overall feelings of the music. So much beauty in this.

  • Some really excellent patterns in here for the pattern seeking brain like mine.
Mostly rhythmic patterns that morph with gracefully to create webs of logical textures.
Definately music that resonates with me. Little imperfections make me believe it was mostly improvised
But that micrologue mention makes me wonder where it contributed in something that changed so fluidly
In ways arp engines never seem to do.

  • Your most Mozartian piece yet.

    Really diggin that 1:16-1:25 segment.

  • Thank you @MadeofWax i have to be objective when I add stuff. Sometimes I feel nudged to add something when nothing is needed. I’m looking harder at that.

@McD, I did mess with the Micrologue ARP… I scootched it down the timeline a few 8ths and it went off rhythm… maybe that’s what you’re hearing. Thanks for the reactions. Always valued.

@Stochastically i never thought of it as related to Mozart. Hmmm. I’ll have to think about that. Thx for listening!

@oat_phipps interesting. I thought you were referring to the passage right before 1:00 to 1:15. That stuck out for me but I can hear what you’re referring to. I would link the two together as a whole. Thanks for listening!

I was just riffing on your Mozart thoughts. I guess I meant not that you sound like Mozart but using simple means to create interesting complexity with a light and effortless quality…etc. etc..

  • Deliciously wistful and capricious! Every time I thought I’d caught on to it, it tantalisingly skipped away again, like a willow the wisp.

  • Thx @Stochastically now I get it 😘🙏
Thank you @craftycurate, that’s great that you felt that way.
And 🙂❤️ right back at you @Pxlhg

  • Thx for the thumbs up @jolico. Appreciated.

  • I’m putting this on endless repeat… Don’t need anything else.

  • Thanks for resurrecting this @scadet, I haven’t seen you post for quite a while. Glad you like it! Have a great summer, mate.

  • I’m glad this post resurrected, cos I missed it the first time.
This is soooooo good. Exceptional playing, composition, everything. Wow 👏👏

  • OMFG, how come I missed that one ! I am also really happy that this was resurrected. Instantly reached my favourite rank, sitting there together with your Metropolis which you know I love so much. Beautiful work and incredible playing.

  • Thank you @tahiche. I had forgotten it, too. Thanks for the praise @JanKun. Will write you.

  • Nice spring feel and track

  • Thank you @BerlinFx. Appreciated.
