iPad Air 3 to 9th gen (or A12 to A13) worth it?
I've had my Air 3 since December 2020, and I love how much its DSP and battery life improved over the Air 2. I assumed that the Air 3 was the last model with a headphone jack, but to my surprise, the 9th gen iPad still has a headphone jack and lightning port. Most iPad Air 3 units sell on eBay for over $200, and most 9th gen units sell for $300-330 but sometimes in the upper 200 range. Is the upgrade from A12 to A13 worth it for audio units. Should I wait a year or two for the 9th gen iPad to become cheaper?

I’m on Air 3 too. I was considering getting a basic iPad for the headphone socket or getting an M1 equipped Air 5. I’m a Cubasis user and following a recent performance patch all of my crackles have gone! Looks like I’ll be staying Air 3 for the foreseeable future
