Faderfox ec4
Cant work out how to make more than 16 setups because iv programmed myself or controller a certain way. Or its a faulty controller.
Iv setup. Each encoder press of the 1-16 encoders. Would say be a synth of 16 encoders. Next encoder press would be a synth with 16 encoders. So you dont have to make a button press combo, of the setup and group button + encoders ( if thats another way of using controller )
So 16 x 16.
But there seems maybe 4096 parameters
When I press group button. Then encoder it chooses group but then pressing encoders after confirmation like how Iv setup a 16 x 16. Encoders put you on a random group, after pressing encoders and not even last/matching encoder/number group pressed. Even though encoders are given ( set ) mode.
Not sure why encoders would choose a group, if the group button isnt pressed and screen isnt flashing and encoders are given set mode.
Why ( if not faulty )
Wouldnt it just be. Choose group by pressing group. Then confirm with encoder. Then you can still choose encoder setups within that group. Just by pressing encoders.
I cant make more than 16 x 16 parameters. Need the 4096.

It does seem and also, with the way I use each encoder press. Just gives you 16 x 16.

Does it seem you only get 256 sets 16. If you use set and group button then encoder. Which I still havent worked out by video.
And not how iv setup with, function push be either set or group. Its actually ( set ) Making it a 16 x 16 controller?
Because Im trying to find out if controller is faulty because after comfirming group with encoder. Pressing loads of encoders just puts you on a random group. Even though the encoders push are ( set ) No reply from faderfox yet either.
Just dont know why it wouldnt be programmed. To access 4024 parameters by choosing an encoder, where each then gives 16 encoders. Then by assigning group by pressing group then choosing group with encoder. Still gives the 16 x 16 of that group.
Thats what it is. When push function isnt set or group. You can choose group and confirm with encoder. Then encoders wont choose a random group. Making it maybe be a 4000+ controller but its either faulty or because how it were programmed. Even with encoder push being ( set ) so shouldnt choose a group ( after you have chosen group ) Then andomly activating a different group. Its just a 16 x 16 controller. Which isnt enough. Even with a faderfox pc12.

Think Iv fixed anyway.
Instead of naming/mapping via setups. You name and map via group. So you can switch synths ( each synth 16 encoders ) but per encoder. Without a button combo. So just pressing encoder. Like how I set up.
You name groups and its only when you have to get out of a 16 x 16. Do you choose setup by pressing setup. Then confirm with encoder. You have the 16 x 16. Per setup.
